Inside this community we’ve build a set of resources that aim to support you in your journey to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. 

With your feedback we aim to continue to develop the resources on offer but, for now, here’s what we have:

#1: Inspired by A Course In Miracles.

Whilst we don’t directly teach A Course In Miracles itself, we have created our health and wellness resources with the teachings very much in mind. 

Our goal is that the miracle we all enjoy is a receiving of love through shared learning, and a perception shift towards greater self compassion.

#2: An Educational Resource.

We’ve created a resource to help you deeply understand your values in the SIX most important areas of health – Nutrition, Sleep, Exercise (physical health), Purpose, Pressure and Adversity (existential health)

By the end of this resource we hope you’ll know how to show yourself greater compassion for the trials of life and learn to express yourself with a deeper sense of love. 

#3: Additional Exercises & Resources.

Well be continually adding to our resources with additional content to give you practical skills and useful tips to play with. The goal is to give you everything you need to succeed in treating yourself with compassion. 

(and we welcome your thoughts and ideas to help us build this resource around YOU too.)

#4: Our Community Q&A Forum.

We’re donating our time to coaching our members directly, by answering the questions that come up for you as you learn to Rest Up & Keep Moving. 

This is done through our Q&A Forum. The forum format allows everyone in the community to learn from each other’s questions and the answers they receive. 

The Forum is coached by a growing team of real life spiritually minded health professionals (not some A.I. bot), so you can be assured your questions will be answered sensitively with compassion, care and attention.

#5: A Place To Share.

If you’re anything like us, you may have been finding it hard to talk about your challenges in an environment where you can feel heard.

You may also be struggling to integrate your spiritual health journey with the physical one. Sharing the spiritual journey is not always a welcome conversation for many. 

We want to change that for you. 

Inside the community we encourage you to share your story, your challenges and your successes. Doing so allows us all to show our support, and for you to feel less isolated.

The choice to share is completely yours. There’s no pressure to do so. And your privacy will always remain intact. 

#6: Big Ideas…

We have big plans for this community! We’re aiming to grow our coaching staff from a wide selection of professional backgrounds in health, wellness and medicine. All bringing their unique talents to the community.

Well that’s what we have for you here. We’ll help you answer all these important questions and more, then put them down on paper so you have a guiding resource for life.

This is an important question. And you’re right to ask it. So let me explain how this works…

Rest Up & Keep Moving is a social initiative, created by Chris Newton, who has been coaching health, fitness and pain management for almost 20 years. 

Chris firmly believes that knowledge about your own health and wellbeing shouldn’t be hidden behind a paywall. Therefore we’ve built this resource on the age old idea of reciprocity. 

So, yes, we are absolutely, 100%, giving this resource away for free, but in the spirit of reciprocity we do hope that you’ll choose to support us too. 

There are three ways in which you can support our work. 

Firstly, you can opt for Private 1-2-1 or Small Group Coaching. 

There is only so much we can offer when coaching within a community setting. To help people more deeply we need to spend time with them and learn about their unique challenges. That way we can personalise the guidance. So we offer the option to book private sessions outside of the community setting. 

Secondly, you can sponsor our work. 

We make ourselves sustainable due to the kind generosity of our ‘Community Sponsors’. These kind people, who share our ethos for reciprocity, appreciate our efforts to support them and choose to sponsor us in return. 

There is no obligation whatsoever to become a sponsor, or book private coaching. But if you do choose either (or both) options, then you will be supporting our work, enabling us to continue building, refining and growing what we offer. 

Finally, you can support our work by actively participating in the community. 

We would love for you to share your journey and your wisdom in the community, or simply acknowledge others as they share theirs. 

As an active member who shares our ethos, there is also a chance to be invited deeper into our family by becoming a Community Mentor and potentially even train to be a Coach yourself. 

As we’ve said above, there is no obligation to do any of these. You can simply enjoy the resources, ask your questions and focus on you. We very much appreciate how important that is too. 

Ha ha, No!

We love this question but, as you can imagine from our interest in A Course in Miracles, we’re not about how you look!

We are about how you “feel” though. We want you to feel deeply compassionate about your physical form, whatever it looks like, and learn to feel deeply peaceful within it. 

Sure, things like body shape, fitness or outlook may change over our time together, but that’ll be because of a beautiful shift in perspective, not from punishing reps in a bootcamp from us 😉

This is a truly important question, so we’re please to be up front about our privacy policy. 

We chose to build a community away from social media platforms so that you can share your thoughts without them being sold to advertisers. 

It’s been a long and challenging journey to create a safe space online, so we’re please with what we can offer you. 

Here’s a run down of what to expect:

  • We only show your first name (and that can be a pseudonym if you like).
  • We only take your name and email. No other personal details.  
  • We won’t bombard you with emails. Everything is communicated within the site and you can manage your message settings in your profile.
  • Your account will never show your contact details to other members.
  • You will never be asked to share personal or health information on the forum without your consent.
  • Private coaching takes place outside of the website and remains private –– What is said in private, stays in private. 
  • Anything you choose to share is done so by you alone. 
  • Our code of conduct extends to our members, so we maintain a safe and supportive space for all.
