Making Movement About “Joy”

This is absolutely one of my favourite podcast episodes from Dr Rangan Chatterjee. Throughout, the conversation is about finding joy in movement. And his guest, Dr Kelly McGonigal, reenforces the idea that exercise doesn’t have to be done in any specific way, like in the gym, running, cycling etc. In particular, she loves to promote the idea of letting music encourage you to move, because it’s simply just FUN to exercise that way.

This “exercise for joy, not for fitness” has been a consistent topic of conversation here at Emergent health, so it’s nice to be able to share a conversation from the thought leaders on this subject.

If you’re not a YouTube fan or prefer to listen to your podcasts as you travel, you can find the ‘Feel Better, Live More’ podcast on Apple or Android through your favourite podcast app. Simply search for Kelly McGonigal, Episode #353.
